Michael Olafusi

Analytics
Michael is the founder of MHS Analytics Inc. and fastentre.com where he uses his 14 years experience as an analytics expert to drive value for businesses. He teaches risk management and financial data at WorldQuant University's Master of Financial Engineering program, and has authored four books on data analytics.
Fun Fact:
I plan/hope to be a famous and prolific children's book author. I have one already published on Amazon but please don't read it.
Jude Asare

Strategy
Jude is an Analytics Advisor at Invest Ontario, where he evaluates projects in the Advanced Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Technology and Agri Food sectors; determining their eligibility and strategic fit for incentive funding from the Ontario government. He is passionate about building resilient and innovative economic ecosystems that propel sustainable economic development and prosperity. He holds a dual MBA/MGA degree from the University of Toronto as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Cornell University.
Fun Fact:
I am a budding writer who is currently writing his first novel in the historical fiction genre. I am also a film festival enthusiast who plans to one day explore the international film festival circuit.

Dan has a diverse professional background spanning marketing communications, entrepreneurship, and startup advisory roles. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Tribe Network, a startup incubation and acceleration hub for racialized founders building innovative solutions across Canada.

Dan loves bicycling, his favorite way of staying active and discovering new places.

Bola leads an Enterprise & AI program at an innovation platform and venture capital firm, connecting early to mid-stage startups with global enterprises. With an MBA and a background in business strategy, she plays a key role in fostering partnerships that drive innovation and help businesses adopt cutting-edge tech solutions to solve challenges and create growth opportunities.
Fun Fact:
Passionate about interior design - just don't ask me to do the actual work. I prefer watching Architectural Digest and redesigning rooms in my head!

Chideraa is an Investment professional with 7 years of extensive experience in venture capital, investor relations and corporate finance. I was an on-air personality for my university's radio station, in which I co-anchored a weekly radio show as a football (called "soccer" in North America) pundit and analyst.

An entrepreneur, co-founder & vice chairman of the Black Wealth Club. An ardent community builder, he served as a federal policy advisor at the Black Canadian Youth Approach within the Heritage Department and currently sits on the board of the Groupe 3737.

Temi Oshin CPA, ACCA is a Chartered Certified Accountant with First Class honors in Economics and a Master’s degree in Finance. In October 2023, Temi completed the CFA Program with a resounding success in all exams at her first attempt. Out of her passion to see more people take charge of their finances and embrace the money conversation, she founded "Finpact 360” - a platform that empowers and motivates individuals to be financially smart and lay a solid financial foundation for their future.
Fun Fact:
Temi is a great cook when she’s cooking for her family, but can’t keep up with Gordon Ramsay when she has to cook for larger groups.

Melisa Ellis is a technology professional with over a decade of experience. She is a community builder and the Founder & CEO of Nobellum Enterprise, a social and technology enterprise with a mandate to support the startup of at least 100 Black-owned businesses in STEM by 2025.
Fun Fact:
When she started her career in history, she hated math. Now she is a software developer learning how to be a VC. Apparently math loves her and will find her anywhere she goes :)
